Shanghai Petrochemical – Emergency Repair Project for the Sulphur Pond in the Storage and Transportation Department
2019.10.15
In 2019, a sulphur tank operating at high temperatures within the Storage and Transportation Department of Shanghai Petrochemical suffered severe corrosion and damage. With the tank operating year-round at temperatures as high as 135–165°C, the traditional protective coating had peeled away over large areas, putting the tank’s protective system at risk of failure.
To prevent safety incidents and ensure uninterrupted production, the client initiated an emergency repair project and, for the first time, adopted the Keeper Materials nano-repair material system.
